I often said I didn't need a sewing room, but I have to admit that I've been a little bit envious of people who did have their own little rooms. I never wanted it to be big and perfect, but a bit of space where I could leave out my stuff... But I ever thought it possible in our tiny home, so Ididn't give it too much thought.
Until my husband decided to ask my father to help him build that final room downstairs (in the former garage) so that our youngest could move in there and I could have a room of my own. I love it so much! I've been organizing and rearranging things for a week now and it's still not really done, nor will it ever be fit t feature in a magazine, but I still want to show it to you all today.
Right behind the door is my writing nook. And the closet with my vintage dresses (that still don't fit, but at least now I can see them)
Then, left to the window is my sewing table. I looked all over town for a small table and this one fits perfectly.
At the other wall is my grandmothers little kitchencupboard (holding notions), my sewing box and my baskets of yarn. Inspiration boards on the wall. I love those.
Lots of space for my fabrics.
My buttons all spread out and easy to find.
It's tiny and messy but I'm so in love with it!
