Anna Maria Horner bag

I was so happy about those real Anna Maria Horner fabrics that I hardly dared to touch them, let alone cut into them. But what use are fabrics like that? So I set to work anyway.

The result? A bag. For me, of course (selfish, I know).

Our village has a "harvest festival" each year, but it doesn't compare to the American festivals I've seen pictures of. Not much harvest, lots of commercial stands. But the bird show was fun to watch.

Scrap blanket

What to do with scraps like this?

Make a blanket. It's Soulemama's idea and I love it. Like her I'm amazed how these colors that I wouldn't choose to combine in a smaller project seem to just adjust themselves to make a whole that I love more and more each time a new color is added.
If you think about it, it's like life itself...
